TRUCK ACCIDENTS IN ALABAMA

As the population of Alabama grows and the State’s economic development blossoms, the number of truck accidents and deaths has dramatically increased.

Interstates 65 and 85 (I-65 and I-85) have become a corridor of trucking terror.  Truck crashes are a daily occurrence along these highways.  Certain stretches of interstate are more deadly due to particular traffic and road conditions.  Local drivers know these spots.  Interstate truckers do not. 18-wheelers speed along these stretches of interstate without regard for changing road conditions and/or other drivers.  As we all know, speed added with increased motor vehicle traffic, is a recipe for disaster.

The number of truck wreck cases our firm has represented has steadily increased.  Our knowledge of the local traffic and local road conditions in Chilton County (Clanton, Jemison, Thorsby), Autauga County (Prattville), Elmore County (Millbrook, Wetumpka, Eclectic, Tallassee), Montgomery County, Macon County (Tuskegee), Lee County (Auburn, Opelika), Chambers County (Lanett, Layfette, Valley) along with Butler County (Greenville, Georgiana), Pike County (Troy and Brundidge), Lowndes County (Ft. Deposit) and Bullock County (Union Springs) gives us an advantage in representing clients.
