Tom is a leader in his profession. Throughout his professional career and his 2010 campaign for the Alabama Supreme Court, Tom has carried on a campaign or what can now be called a “Crusade for Justice.”
It is obvious through the repeated news stories that Alabama has gained the reputation that “Justice is for Sale” as a result of the corroding, corrupting influence of vast sums of corporate money to take over Alabama’s highest court. Tom has set up several websites and social media campaigns to inform the public of this corporate takeover of Alabama’s court.

We must bring back impartiality, integrity and balance to our Supreme Court. If we don’t all citizens lose for this generation and onward. I commit myself to this cause, this crusade and this fight for “Justice for All.” – Tom Edwar
Tom has served as the President of the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association (Now Association for Justice) and has also served on the Executive Committee and Board of Governors for the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (now American Association for Justice). Tom was also the President of the American Trial Lawers’ Council of State Presidents.
